Why Beeswax?

Beeswax is the only wax that naturally purifies the air. As it burns, it releases subtle negative ions that bind to airborne pollutants such as dust, pollen, pet dander and toxins; helping them fall from the air and creating a cleaner environment.

This process is entirely natural and made possible by the bees themselves, who infuse the wax with their enzymatic work, intention, and tireless devotion.

Benefits

  • Burns cleanly with minimal smoke + soot

  • Naturally air-purifying

  • Long lasting, slow burn

  • Warmest golden light that soothes the nervous system

  • Free from synthetic fragrance, dyes, additives or pesticides.

How To Properly Burn A Beeswax Candle

The wick has been conveniently prepared for your first burn. Before each burn to follow, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 “ to encourage a clean, steady flame.
If you aren’t sure what 1/4” looks like, you can gently pinch the wick using a tissue before lighting and trust whatever releases easily, without force is the right amount to remove.
Since beeswax has a high melting temperature, it may sometimes take a few seconds for the flame to hold steady. This may also happen if the wick is trimmed too short.
If this happens, pick up your candle from the furthest point away from the wick, and tilt it on a 45 degree angle to light it.
Gently twist the candle back and forth to let the melting wax fall away from the centre.
By melting a small wax pool surrounding the wick, you encourage more wick exposure and the flame will receive more oxygen to hold strong and steady.
Once the flame holds, place the candle down on a heat-resistant surface. Never pick up or transport a burning candle.

The first one to two burns are the most important and help establish the candle’s “memory”.
Light your candle when you have enough time to be present with it, allowing the wax to melt fully to the edges of the vessel. this typically takes up to 4 hours and ensures even, consistent burns over time, maximizing the life of your candle.

Allow this candle to become part of a ritual. a moment of warmth, illumination, stillness, peace and love.

Safety

Burn in a calm, well-ventilated space and never leave unattended.
Keep away from children, pets and anything flammable.
Place the burning candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface before lighting.
When extinguishing, gently snuff the flame or dip the wick into the wax using a heat-safe tool, then straighten the wick upright for the next use.
Beeswax burns significantly hotter than other waxes. avoid touching the melted wax or wick directly.
Keep away from drafts, vents, and open windows to ensure an even, and safe burn.
Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish and allow it to cool before relighting.
Stop use when only approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Never move a candle while it’s lit or while the wax is hot.
Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches or debris.
Extinguish the flame gently. Do not use water to put out the candle.
Use only as intended.
